Job description
We are looking for a Sales Manager to be in charge of the project sales in Finland, focusing on the further development of the relations to our investors as well as identifying new business models and cooperation partners. The role involves strategic adjustments to changing market conditions to improve sales performance, overall sales strategy setting, and working closely with project development, construction and operations to grow the business. The position is based in Finland and requires a strong local market presence.
What's your role?
- Manage the sales in Finland, covering utility-scale onshore wind, solar & BESS sales.
- Take the lead in sales planning, target setting and sales strategy development including identifying new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the project development, construction, operations, procurement and project financing teams to ensure sales support for all relevant departments.
- Develop strategic partnerships by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, partners and industry influencers.
- Negotiate and manage the negotiation process for contracts and agreements.
- Ensure sales outcomes and realizations that align with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and report on market feedback, sales activities, project progress, and market insights for senior management and all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage pre- and post-sales requirements.
What you will bring?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project sales and / or M&A preferably in renewable energy-related businesses
- Strong experience in sales and knowledge of the Finnish energy market and the renewable industry
- Extensive market expertise with a well-established network in Finland’s energy industry and investment sector
- Systematic and analytical mindset, consistently aligned with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and high-performance environment
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in both Finnish and English
- Willingness and interest in extensive and regular travelling, including participation in national and international industry events, conferences, workshops and meetings
- Positive, energetic, and can-do attitude
